Job Description

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operation by ensuring the efficient and effective movement of goods. You will be responsible for coordinating transport logistics, managing inventory, and ensuring that shipments are delivered accurately and on time. This role demands excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. You will act as a vital link between our suppliers, customers, and internal departments, ensuring smooth and effective operations. Your ability to problem-solve and optimize logistics processes will be key to supporting the company's growth and operational excellence.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the transportation of goods from suppliers to customers.
  • Monitor shipments to ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods.
  • Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and customers to address and resolve issues.
  • Develop effective logistics plans to optimize transportation schedules and routes.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and shipment updates.
  • Prepare and process all necessary documentation for shipping and receiving.
  • Conduct regular reviews of logistics performance and suggest improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to forecast and plan future inventory needs.
  • Negotiate with transport vendors to secure favorable terms and rates.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations.
  • Implement best practices for supply chain management and logistical coordination.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and enhance logistics processes and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a logistics role within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain and transportation management processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
