We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Lighting Sales Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving our sales growth by leveraging your technical expertise in lighting systems and solutions. As a Lighting Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for building strong client relationships, understanding customer needs, and delivering customized solutions that align with their objectives. You will collaborate closely with the sales team, product development, and marketing to ensure our lighting solutions meet market demands and client expectations. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in the lighting industry.
  • Understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions to meet their lighting needs.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to explain product specifications.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies and achieve sales targets.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients throughout the sales process and beyond.
  • Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in lighting technologies and applications.
  • Travel to client sites to assess needs and recommend the appropriate lighting solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to achieve revenue goals.
  • Work closely with product development to provide market feedback and support new product launches.
  • Maintain detailed records of interactions, proposals, and sales activities in CRM software.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to promote our lighting solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards in all sales activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales engineering, preferably in the lighting industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of lighting systems, products, and related technologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings and site assessments.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and goals consistently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
