As a Lighting Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the sales of our innovative lighting solutions by leveraging your engineering expertise and strong sales acumen. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product development teams to optimize lighting solutions based on customer needs.
  • Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to showcase lighting solutions to clients.
  • Analyze customer requirements and provide customized lighting solutions to optimize sales outcomes.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction are achieved.
  • Assist in developing marketing and promotional activities to raise product awareness and improve sales.
  • Monitor competitor activities and develop counter-strategies to maintain market competitiveness.
  • Provide post-sales support and troubleshooting to ensure client satisfaction and resolve issues.
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts, presenting detailed updates to senior management regularly.
  • Participate in trade shows and industry events to network and promote lighting products effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Lighting Engineering, or a related field required.
  • Proven experience in sales engineering, preferably within the lighting industry, is essential.
  • Strong technical knowledge of lighting products, systems, and industry standards is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain customer relationships.
  • Ability to conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite for tracking and reporting sales activities.
  • Analytical skills to assess market trends, customer needs, and competitive developments effectively.
