Job Description

The Laboratory Technician plays a crucial role in the scientific research team, conducting experiments and tests that contribute to the advancement of knowledge in various fields. This dynamic and detail-oriented role involves working with laboratory equipment and instruments to analyze samples, record findings, and ensure that all laboratory processes meet industry standards and regulations. Responsibilities

  • Perform laboratory tests and experimentations following established protocols and procedures.

  • Conduct quality control measures to validate reliability of test outputs and procedures.
  • Collaborate with scientific staff in research projects, providing technical support and expertise.
  • Compile and interpret scientific data, presenting findings to senior laboratory personnel.
  • Assist in the training of new laboratory staff, promoting best practice methodologies.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free laboratory environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a closely related scientific discipline.
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with laboratory techniques and procedures.
  • Proficiency in using laboratory equipment, including microscopes and spectrometers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for effective data interpretation.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and record-keeping.
  • Familiarity with relevant safety protocols and regulatory requirements for laboratories.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
