Responsibilities

• Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance, inspections, and routine service on HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty or underperforming HVAC equipment promptly.
• Ensure all installations and repairs are compliant with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with clients to assess their HVAC needs and offer appropriate solutions.
• Maintain precise records of service calls, work performed, and parts used.
• Advise clients on energy conservation and system upgrades for improved efficiency.
• Order and manage inventory for new installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
• Stay updated with the latest technology and practices in the HVAC industry.
• Provide emergency repairs in cases of HVAC system failures outside regular hours.
• Assist in training junior HVAC technicians and apprentices in best practices.
• Follow safety procedures and utilize safety equipment to minimize work-related hazards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, vocational training in HVAC preferred.
• Valid HVAC technician license and EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• Proven experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and solve HVAC technical problems.
• Excellent understanding of electrical and mechanical components in HVAC systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Exceptional customer service skills and a professional attitude towards clients.
• Physical capability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces when needed.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel.
