We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. As a Heavy Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating and managing heavy forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your role will also include ensuring safe, efficient, and organized handling of products, while complying with company policies and procedures. Responsibilities

• Operate heavy forklifts to load and unload materials and deliveries.
• Conduct routine checks and maintain the forklift equipment in safe working condition.
• Transport materials to and from designated storage areas, warehouses, or vehicles.
• Perform regular inventory counts using the forklift for moving items.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping of goods loaded and transported for inventory management.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations consistently to promote a safe work environment.
• Assist in the coordination of warehouse setup with operational teams for efficient workflow.
• Identify and report potential hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately to supervisors.
• Participate actively in safety and operational training sessions for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient logistic operations and task completion.
• Inspect incoming deliveries for discrepancies and quality prior to warehouse admission.
• Manage heavy loads carefully to prevent damage or loss during transportation and storage.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Heavy Forklift Operator in a busy warehouse setting.
• Certified Forklift Operator with a valid DOT certification or equivalent credentials.
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and forklift operational guidelines.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical activities as needed.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and safety in operations.
• Superior problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
