Join our team as a Healthcare Aide (OPD) and play a vital role in supporting nurses and physicians to deliver safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care. Working under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse or other licensed clinician, you will assist with patient preparation, basic clinical procedures, clinic workflows, and day-to-day operational support to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with preparation for consultations, examinations, and procedures.
  • Support nurses and clinicians with basic clinical and non-clinical duties.
  • Ensure examination rooms, equipment, and supplies are clean, stocked, and ready for use.
  • Assist with patient flow, appointment coordination, and departmental workflow.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety, infection control, and quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
  • Promote a positive patient experience through compassionate and professional care.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and ongoing development of clinical skills within scope of practice.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or certification in Healthcare Assistance, Nursing Assistant, or related healthcare field.
  • Previous experience in a hospital, clinic, or outpatient setting preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and professional development.
