Job Description

The Guest Service Executive is a pivotal member of the hospitality team, responsible for ensuring that each guest has a memorable and pleasant experience. This role involves interacting with guests, addressing their needs and concerns, and coordinating with various departments to fulfill guest requests. A Guest Service Executive should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a strong sense of service orientation, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, attentive, and committed to surpassing guest expectations. This position not only contributes to guest satisfaction but also plays a crucial role in maintaining the hotel or service establishment's reputation and enhancing customer loyalty.


Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and ensure a courteous and efficient check-in process.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to address guest room needs and issues.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of hotel facilities, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Ensure accurate billing and financial recording for guest services and transactions.
  • Provide personalized recommendations to enhance the guest experience and satisfaction.
  • Facilitate smooth communication between guests and various service departments.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards and policies.
  • Manage guest feedback and work towards continuous service improvement.
  • Assist in managing concierge services and transportation arrangements for guests.
  • Support the guest service team in daily operations to achieve service excellence.
  • Ensure guest profiles and preferences are updated for personalized service delivery.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality degree is a plus.
  • At least two years of experience in a guest services role or similar.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills required.
  • Proficient in hotel management software and basic computer applications.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high standard.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
