WSP in the Middle East is seeking a motivated Emirati Graduate Engineer to join our Marine Infrastructure team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate in Civil, Structural, or Marine Engineering who is interested in developing a career in marine infrastructure. You will work alongside experienced engineers and project managers on a variety of marine projects while gaining valuable hands-on experience and professional development opportunities.

Responsibilities

Project Planning and Design

• Support the planning and design of marine infrastructure projects.
• Assist with technical studies, calculations, drawings, and reports.
• Coordinate with different engineering disciplines to support project delivery.
  
  
  

• Assist with the analysis and design of marine structures such as quay walls, jetties, and breakwaters.
• Use engineering software to support design and assessment activities.
• Contribute to selecting suitable materials and construction methods.
  
  
  

• Provide technical support during construction activities and site visits.
• Assist in resolving design-related issues and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
• Support testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.
  
  
  

• Follow health, safety, and environmental standards in all project activities.
• Support sustainable and environmentally responsible engineering practices.
  
  
  

• Maintain project documentation, drawings, calculations, and reports.
• Assist with project progress reporting and stakeholder documentation.
  
  
  

• Work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers.
• Stay up to date with industry developments and best practices.
• Participate in training and development opportunities.
  
  
  

• UAE National (with a valid Family Book).
• A bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Civil/Structural Engineering (with a focus on marine infrastructure), or a related field.
• Recent graduate or up to 2 years of professional experience in marine infrastructure projects.
• Solid understanding of marine engineering principles, design standards, and construction methodologies.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, or similar.
• Familiarity with marine construction techniques and materials.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
