Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced General Practitioner with a strong background in Long‑Term Care (LTC) to join its medical team. The role involves providing continuous, comprehensive primary medical care to patients with chronic, complex, and long‑term healthcare needs, ensuring high‑quality, patient‑centered care across the continuum.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across all age groups
  • Manage and monitor patients with chronic and long‑term medical conditions
  • Deliver continuous medical oversight and ensure continuity of care for LTC patients
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat a broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Coordinate care with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support integrated treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with hospital policies and standards
  • Participate in emergency coverage, on‑call duties, and hospital‑wide clinical operations as required

Qualifications

  • Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution
  • Valid professional license or eligibility for licensure in the UAE (DOH / DHA)
  • Minimum of 3 years of post‑qualification clinical experience, including experience in Long‑Term Care settings
  • Strong diagnostic, clinical decision‑making, and patient management skills
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal abilities
