Job Description

The Facilities Supervisor for RME 09M26 is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of company facilities, ensuring they are safe, functional, and well-maintained. This role is crucial in coordinating with various departments to ensure that facilities meet organizational needs, comply with health and safety regulations, and promote productivity among employees. The Facilities Supervisor will manage a team of maintenance staff, coordinate with vendors and service providers, and ensure that all facilities-related equipment and utilities are functioning optimally. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facility management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to solve problems efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality and safety in all operations.


Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of all company facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
  • Plan and oversee maintenance and repair work on facilities and equipment.
  • Manage and maintain records of all facilities' maintenance and operational activities.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for scheduled and emergency maintenance tasks.
  • Inspect facilities regularly to identify issues and plan for preventive measures.
  • Develop and implement facility management policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the procurement of materials and supplies needed for maintenance activities.
  • Ensure energy management and sustainability practices are implemented effectively.
  • Manage the budget for facilities' operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Provide leadership and training to maintenance staff for skill development.
  • Generate reports on facilities' status and suggest improvements to management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in facility management, engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in facilities management or supervision.
  • Strong understanding of building systems and facility equipment operations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills for overseeing staff.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective facility management strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and preventive care.
  • Proficiency in using computer-aided facility management (CAFM) software.
