Job Description
Prepare detailed electrical drawings using AutoCAD.
Prepare electrical shop drawings, construction drawings, and as-built drawings.
Develop layouts and detailed drawings for the following systems:
Lighting and Small Power Systems.
Lighting Control Systems.
LV Distribution Systems.
Cable Tray, Cable Trunking and Cable Containment.
Cable Routing and Electrical Riser Diagrams.
Distribution Board (DB) Layouts.
Single Line Diagrams (SLD).
Earthing and Lightning Protection Systems.
Emergency Lighting and Exit Signage.
Fire Alarm System Layouts.
ELV Systems, including CCTV, Access Control, Data and Telephone.
Review electrical design drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Prepare electrical sections, elevations, schematics, and installation details.
Coordinate electrical drawings with HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Structural, and Architectural disciplines.
Identify and resolve drawing discrepancies and coordination issues.
Incorporate consultant comments and update drawings accordingly.
Coordinate with electrical engineers, site engineers, and BIM teams.
Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and relevant UAE authority requirements.
Maintain proper drawing revisions and documentation.
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Electrical Draftsman.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
Good understanding of MEP electrical systems and installation practices.
Experience in preparing electrical shop drawings and as-built drawings.
Ability to read and interpret electrical design drawings and technical specifications.
Knowledge of UAE authority standards, including DEWA, ADDC, and FEWA requirements, is an advantage.
Experience in high-rise buildings, villas, residential, and commercial projects.
Good communication and coordination skills.
UAE/GCC project experience is preferred.
Immediate joiners are preferred.
