Electrical Draftsman

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical shop drawings, installation drawings, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD.
  

• Develop lighting, power, emergency lighting, and small power layouts.
  

• Prepare cable tray, cable routing, containment, and earthing layouts.
  

• Prepare single-line diagrams (SLD), electrical schematics, and panel schedules as required.
  

• Coordinate electrical drawings with HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other MEP services.
  

• Review drawings against approved design drawings, project specifications, and consultant requirements.
  

• Incorporate consultant comments and revise drawings according to project requirements.
  

• Ensure drawings comply with applicable UAE regulations and project standards.
  

• Coordinate with electrical engineers, MEP coordinators, site teams, and consultants.
  

• Prepare as-built drawings based on actual site installation details.
  

Requirements

Requirements

• Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in electrical drafting, preferably in the UAE.
  

• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP is an advantage.
  

• Good understanding of electrical layouts, wiring diagrams, cable routing, and MEP coordination.
  

• Familiarity with UAE electrical standards and authority requirements.
  

• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and coordinate with project teams.
