As a Civil Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, design, and management of construction projects across various sectors, including roads, buildings, airports, tunnels, dams, bridges, and systems for water supply and sewage treatment. Your primary focus will be to ensure all projects are completed efficiently, on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards. You will work alongside architects, construction managers, and other professionals to create sustainable and practical infrastructure. Your analytical skills and problem-solving abilities will be essential in addressing engineering challenges, ensuring compliance with regulations, and optimizing the performance of structures. Responsibilities

• Develop detailed designs and plans for a variety of civil engineering projects.
• Conduct site surveys, analyze data, and assess potential environmental impacts.
• Ensure infrastructures meet health and safety regulations and sustainability guidelines.
• Supervise and manage the work of subcontractors and laborers during construction.
• Coordinate with project managers and architects to ensure project goals are met.
• Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create blueprints and models.
• Prepare project specifications, budgets, and timelines for approval by stakeholders.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed construction projects.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and codes.
• Monitor and report on project progress, making necessary adjustments to meet deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related engineering discipline is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain licensure is preferred.
• Minimum of three years’ experience working in civil engineering or construction projects.
• Proficient in the use of design and analysis software such as AutoCAD or Revit.
• Strong understanding of project management techniques and risk management practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with various stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
