Job Description

The Channel Sales Manager is a critical role responsible for developing, managing, and nurturing relationships with channel partners to drive sales and revenue growth. The individual in this role will work closely with partners to leverage their capabilities and resources to exceed sales targets and expand market reach. This position requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and excellent communication skills to align partners with the company's goals and sales strategies. The Channel Sales Manager will collaborate with internal teams to ensure that partners are well-equipped with the necessary training, marketing resources, and support to succeed. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management, partner development, and achieving sales objectives through indirect sales channels.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing channel partners to drive sales growth.
  • Identify and recruit new channel partners to expand the company's sales network.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create and implement effective marketing strategies for partners.
  • Train and support partners to ensure they are knowledgeable about the company's products and services.
  • Monitor partner performance and provide guidance and support to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Create and manage channel sales plans to achieve revenue targets and sales objectives.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with partners to assess performance and align strategies.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with channel partners to secure beneficial partnerships.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams about market trends and partner performance.
  • Work closely with the sales team to manage and coordinate channel-led deals.
  • Analyze sales data and prepare reports for senior management on channel performance.
  • Assist in the resolution of partner conflicts to ensure a healthy channel ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in channel sales management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong ability to develop and maintain business relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills to foster successful partnerships.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills for effective partner engagement.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with partners and attend industry events.
