Job Description

As a Channel Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth by establishing and nurturing relationships with key partners and distributors. Your primary responsibilities include developing sales strategies that enable the company to reach its revenue goals through a network of alliances. You will oversee channel activities, manage partner performance, and identify opportunities to enhance sales and profitability. A collaborative approach will be essential as you work closely with internal teams such as marketing, product management, and customer support to ensure a cohesive strategy that aligns with the company’s objectives. Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to optimize channel sales and increase market penetration while maintaining excellent partner relationships.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve channel sales targets effectively.
  • Identify and recruit new partners, ensuring a broad and diversified channel network.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing partners to optimize performance.
  • Conduct regular assessments of partner capabilities and performance for improvement.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to design co-marketing campaigns and promotions.
  • Provide partners with training and support to enhance their sales effectiveness.
  • Manage contracts and agreements to achieve desired sales objectives and margins.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform channel strategies.
  • Work closely with the product team to communicate channel needs and feedback.
  • Oversee the resolution of partner and customer issues and escalations.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on channel performance and opportunities.
  • Manage budget allocations for channel development initiatives and activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in channel sales or partnerships management.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales growth through channel partnerships.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships effectively.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to drive channel success.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with partners and attend events.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
