Job Description

The Channel Sales Manager plays a critical role in developing and executing effective sales strategies through channel partnerships to drive business growth. This position involves identifying potential channel partners, negotiating contracts, and managing the relationship to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives. The Channel Sales Manager will also be responsible for training and supporting partners, enabling them to achieve sales targets while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction. With a strong focus on relationship-building and strategic planning, this role requires a proactive approach to nurture and expand channel alliances. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the market dynamics in the relevant industry.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive channel sales strategy to meet revenue targets.
  • Identify and recruit new channel partners to expand market reach and influence.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop sales and training programs for partners.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize business opportunities and profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with channel partners.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to make informed business decisions.
  • Provide ongoing support and resources to partners to achieve sales objectives.
  • Ensure that partners comply with company policies and adhere to sales guidelines.
  • Conduct regular meetings and reviews with partners to track progress and address issues.
  • Gather market intelligence to identify opportunities and threats affecting sales channels.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to develop promotional activities for channel partners.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on channel sales activities and performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in channel sales or a similar role.
  • Proven ability to manage and grow relationships with channel partners.
  • Strong negotiation skills with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in CRM software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand complex business environments and dynamics.
