Job Description

A CCTV Camera Technician is responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting surveillance and security camera systems across residential, commercial, and industrial locations in the UAE. The role involves working with IP cameras, analog cameras, DVR/NVR systems, structured cabling, and network configurations to ensure reliable monitoring and security coverage. The technician will support system upgrades, conduct routine maintenance, and ensure all installations comply with UAE security standards and client requirements. The position requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a technical team while maintaining high safety and quality standards.


Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and related surveillance equipment at client locations.

  • Conduct site surveys to determine camera placement and system design requirements.

  • Run and terminate network and power cabling for CCTV systems.

  • Configure IP cameras, network settings, and remote viewing through mobile or desktop applications.

  • Perform regular system maintenance, testing, and upgrades.

  • Troubleshoot and repair faults in cameras, recorders, wiring, and networking equipment.

  • Ensure installations comply with UAE safety and security regulations.

  • Provide technical support and training to clients on system usage and monitoring.

  • Maintain documentation of installations, service reports, and maintenance activities.

  • Coordinate with project managers and other technicians to complete installations on time.


Requirements:

  • Diploma or technical certification in Electronics, IT, Electrical, or a related field.

  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in CCTV installation and maintenance in the UAE or GCC.

  • Strong knowledge of IP cameras, analog systems, DVR/NVR configuration, and networking basics.

  • Experience with cable routing, termination, and testing.

  • Familiarity with remote monitoring software and mobile applications.

  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work on-site and handle multiple installations or service tasks.

  • Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
