Responsibilities

• Develop detailed design drawings and specifications using AutoCAD software tools.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Ensure that all designs adhere to industry standards and regulations effectively.
• Revise plans to comply with modifications and corrections from field reports.
• Maintain updated records of all designs, drafts, and related documentation securely.
• Assist in site surveys and gathering necessary measurements and data accurately.
• Conduct quality checks on designs before submitting them for final review.
• Create reference images or mockups for use in project proposals or presentations.
• Adapt designs according to client feedback and project constraints promptly.
• Coordinate with the project team to ensure designs are executed as planned.
• Utilize CAD and computer graphics software to represent standard building techniques.
• Keep abreast of advancements in drafting tools and technologies continually.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman or similar role in the field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software and familiarity with other CAD programs.
• Strong knowledge of architectural and engineering design principles required.
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent communication skills and aptitude for working in a team environment.
• Attention to detail with a keen eye for accuracy and precision in work.
• Familiarity with building codes, standards, and architectural terminology.
• Associate's degree in Drafting, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
