Auto Electrician

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Auto Electrician to join our team. As an Auto Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in heavy equipments. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of automotive electrical systems, both conventional and complex electronic systems. You will work closely with other technicians and service professionals to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in a range of heavy equipments, and large machinery. Your expertise will help ensure machines are running smoothly and efficiently, contributing significantly to customer satisfaction and the safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed diagnostics on electrical systems to identify underlying issues.
• Repair and replace faulty electrical wiring and components in machinery.
• Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems in automobiles.
• Collaborate with mechanical technicians for comprehensive vehicle servicing.
• Use specialized tools and equipment for accurate machine diagnostics and repairs.
• Inspect, test, and fix all electrical components in equipments.
• Interpret and apply information from wiring diagrams and blueprints.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations at all times.
• Provide technical advice and support to customers regarding electrical repairs.
• Keep records of work carried out, including spare parts used and work time.
• Stay updated with new automotive electrical technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with technical training preferred.
• Proven experience as an Auto Electrician in an automotive environment.
• Strong knowledge of modern vehicle electrical systems and controls.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and specialized electric tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in repairs.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
• Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical information clearly.
