Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Assistant Sales Manager to join our thriving sales team. As an Assistant Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the sales department by developing sales strategies, managing a team of sales representatives, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of sales strategies to achieve targets.
  • Manage and lead a team of sales representatives, providing guidance and support.
  • Monitor team performance and implement improvement plans to enhance results.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize sales campaigns and promotions.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and develop action plans accordingly.
  • Ensure sales team compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the recruitment and training of new sales team members.
  • Liaise with the product development team to align sales strategies with offerings.
  • Prepare and present detailed sales reports to upper management regularly.
  • Identify and explore opportunities for cross-selling and upselling products.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive landscape changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a sales management role.
  • Proven track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets and goals.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills are essential for this role.
  • Ability to analyze sales metrics and develop effective improvement strategies.
  • Proficient with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
