Job Description

As an Assistant Revenue Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and execution of revenue management strategies. This position focuses on optimizing room and service pricing strategies to maximize overall hotel revenue. Working closely with the Revenue Manager, you will analyze data to forecast demand and prepare insightful reports that influence key strategic decisions. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will ensure that the hotel's room inventory is managed effectively and profitably. This pivotal role requires a keen understanding of market trends and competitive landscape to ensure the property is ahead in strategic and financially sound decision-making.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in devising and managing room pricing strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Analyze daily and monthly performance reports to identify revenue opportunities.
  • Monitor and evaluate market trends and the competitive set pricing strategies.
  • Support Revenue Manager in forecasting reports and budgeting activities.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to optimize revenue strategies.
  • Utilize revenue management systems to perform competitive benchmarking.
  • Assist in managing the distribution channel strategy for optimal performance.
  • Participate in weekly revenue management meetings and present findings.
  • Implement promotional activities that align with revenue objectives.
  • Track and analyze the effectiveness of implemented strategies and promotions.
  • Provide training support on revenue management strategies to front office teams.
  • Continuously improve data analysis and reporting processes for higher accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in revenue management or related position.
  • Proficiency in revenue management and data analysis software is essential.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to process and interpret complex data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
  • Proven track record of implementing successful revenue optimization strategies.
