Assistant Associate Professor Of Public Relations

The University of Kalba seeks a qualified faculty member in Public Relations with expertise in contemporary strategic communication, digital public relations, and emerging communication technologies. The successful candidate will contribute to undergraduate teaching, academic research, curriculum development, student supervision, and industry engagement.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in public relations and related communication disciplines.
• Integrate AI applications, social media analytics, and digital communication tools into teaching.
• Supervise student projects, internships, and applied research.
• Publish research in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
• Develop partnerships with government institutions, media organizations, and communication agencies.
• Contribute to curriculum development, academic accreditation, and quality assurance.
• Participate in departmental and university committees.
   

Qualifications

• PhD in Communication, Public Relations, Strategic Communication, or a related field, with specialization relevant to public relations from a recognized university or equalized by the UAE Ministry of Education. 
• A demonstrated record of teaching excellence aligned with international standards.
• Strong research record, preferably with publications indexed in Scopus or Web of Science.
• Practical experience in public relations, corporate communication, or strategic communication is highly desirable.
• Candidates must teach, assess student work, and advise students in both Arabic and English.
