Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Applied Behaviour Analyst to join our team and make a difference in the lives of individuals with developmental and behavioral challenges. The successful candidate will use evidence-based interventions, primarily grounded in the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), to help clients improve their social, communication, adaptive, and learning skills. Primarily working with children and adults with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities, the role requires the ability to assess individual needs, create customized treatment plans, and provide ongoing assessment and support. As an integral part of our multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to therapy and care. The passion for making meaningful changes in people's lives, combined with a detail-oriented work ethic and strong interpersonal skills, is essential for success in this role.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify behavioral issues and skill deficits.
  • Design individualized intervention plans based on assessment data and evidence-based practices.
  • Implement behavior intervention strategies and monitor clients’ progress over time.
  • Collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure consistent implementation of strategies at home.
  • Provide training and support to parents, teachers, and care providers as needed.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of intervention plans and make necessary adjustments for improvement.
  • Collect and analyze data to ensure accountability and outcome measurement of interventions.
  • Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate client records for regulatory compliance.
  • Liaise with other professionals in the field to coordinate comprehensive client care.
  • Stay informed of the latest research and developments in the field of ABA and related therapies.
  • Advocate for the needs and rights of clients within various settings and communities.
  • Participate in professional development and continuing education opportunities regularly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or willingness to obtain.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism and other developmental disorders.
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral principles and intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with diverse clients and families.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current in the field.
