Application Architect

As an Application Architect, you will be the visionary behind the design and structure of complex software applications, ensuring they align with business goals, scalability, and technology trends. Your expertise in software architecture, design principles, and technical leadership will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our technology initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into innovative software solutions.
• Design application architecture that meets functional and non-functional requirements, considering scalability, security, and performance.
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools to build robust and scalable applications.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation.
• Design integration strategies to ensure seamless communication and data flow between different application components and external systems.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, guiding them in implementing best practices and adhering to architectural standards.
• Create prototypes and proof of concept solutions to validate architectural decisions and demonstrate feasibility.
• Review code to ensure compliance with architectural guidelines, coding standards, and best practices.
• Monitor and enforce code quality, performance, and security standards.
• Design solutions that can scale to accommodate increasing user loads and deliver optimal performance.
• Identify potential bottlenecks and implement strategies to enhance system performance.
• Incorporate security measures into the application architecture, ensuring data protection, privacy, and compliance with regulations.
• Create clear and comprehensive architectural documentation, including diagrams, design principles, and coding guidelines.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are advantageous.
• Proven experience as an Application Architect or similar role, with a strong track record in designing and implementing complex software applications.
• Proficiency in software architecture patterns, design principles, and software development methodologies.
• In-depth knowledge of programming languages, frameworks, and technologies relevant to application development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical challenges.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and microservices architecture.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Leadership abilities to guide and inspire development teams toward architectural excellence.
• Understanding of DevOps practices, continuous integration, and deployment pipelines.
• Adaptability to changing technology landscapes and a commitment to continuous learning.
