Android Developer

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Android Developer to join our mobile app development team. The Android Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications. This role requires expertise in mobile app development, proficiency in Java or Kotlin, and a strong commitment to creating exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Must have exposure to Android Architecture Components, full lifecycle of Android Apps: building from early stages, shipping through Google Play Store
• Knowledge of multi-threading and memory management specific to mobile devices and caching mechanisms
• Work with outside data sources and APIs
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

• Minimum 5 years of coding experience in Android
• Strong understanding of object-oriented software development, Android SDK and its design patterns.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
