The role of an Accounts Coordinator is pivotal to the success of any finance department. As an Accounts Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing various financial activities and ensuring that all transactions are accurately processed and recorded. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with various departments to gather necessary financial documentation for processing.

  • Assist in the preparation and organization of monthly financial reports and statements.
  • Reconcile accounts and balance sheets at the end of each accounting period.
  • Monitor and track accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve financial transaction recording processes.
  • Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to billing and payments.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure financial compliance and audit readiness.
  • Manage communications with vendors to resolve any financial disputes or queries.
  • Provide support during the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Maintain financial records in an organized and accessible manner for auditing purposes.
  • Ensure all accounting policies and procedures are in line with current regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required.
  • Proven experience in an accounting or financial role, preferably as a coordinator.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills for handling multiple tasks.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams.
