Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of proven experience as an Accountant, preferably within the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE accounting practices, VAT, and Corporate Tax requirements.
• Experience in managing complete accounting operations for a company.
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger, bank reconciliation, petty cash, and journal entries.
• Experience in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Good knowledge of cash flow management, budgeting, expense control, and financial planning.
• Experience in VAT return preparation, VAT reconciliation, and supporting tax compliance activities.
• Knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax compliance, records, and documentation.
• Experience in payroll processing, salary records, employee advances, and related accounting entries.
• Ability to monitor customer outstanding payments, supplier balances, collections, and payment schedules.
• Experience in preparing Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, Trial Balance, and management reports.
• Ability to coordinate with external auditors, banks, tax consultants, suppliers, and clients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and supporting documents.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software/ERP systems and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy, confidentiality, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the company's accounting and financial activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the company's day-to-day accounting and financial operations.
• Maintain complete and accurate accounting records and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
• Handle AP, AR, GL, invoicing, receipts, payments, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Monitor cash flow, company expenses, receivables, and payables.
• Prepare monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, cash flow statements, and MIS reports.
• Manage customer invoicing and follow up on outstanding receivables and collections.
• Coordinate supplier payments and maintain accurate supplier accounts and payment schedules.
• Prepare and maintain records required for UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial documents and supporting schedules.
• Assist management with budgeting, financial analysis, cost control, and business decisions.
• Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Identify accounting discrepancies, financial risks, and control issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure timely completion of monthly and year-end closing activities.
