Job Description

The role of an Accountant cum Admin is a dynamic position that combines the tasks of financial management with office administration duties. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial documents, as well as preparing and maintaining important administrative records. The role requires a meticulous individual who excels at multitasking and has the ability to work independently in managing tasks related to both accounting and administration. This position offers a unique opportunity to leverage skills in accounting while also managing day-to-day office operations, providing a comprehensive understanding of the operational and financial workings of the organization.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate financial documents and reports to meet statutory requirements.
  • Maintain updated ledger balances and manage accounts receivable and payable.
  • Handle payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payments to staff.
  • Execute routine administrative tasks such as filing, correspondence, and record-keeping.
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers to manage office purchases and expenses.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth office operations.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting activities.
  • Manage and maintain office inventory, ensuring adequate supplies at all times.
  • Support management with audit and tax-related documentation and inquiries.
  • Organize company events, meetings, and travel arrangements for staff.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Implement and monitor company policies as they pertain to administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in accounting and administrative roles for at least 2 years.
  • Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
