Mason job description:
Build and repair structures using brick, block, stone, and concrete
- Lay materials according to blueprints and measurements
- Mix and apply mortar, grout, and concrete
- Cut, shape, and smooth masonry materials
- Install reinforcements such as rebar or wire mesh
- Ensure structures are level, plumb, and aligned
- Operate masonry tools and equipment safely
- Maintain worksite cleanliness and follow safety guidelines
- Inspect completed work for quality and durability
