Waitress

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort customers to their tables with a welcoming attitude.
• Present menus, and offer detailed menu descriptions to assist customer choices.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using a POS ordering system.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, while ensuring quality and presentation.
• Maintain complete knowledge of the restaurant's menu items and daily specials.
• Follow up with guests to ensure all their needs are met during their dining experience.
• Handle all customer complaints or requests politely and effectively.
• Clear and clean tables after guests have finished their meals.
• Maintain health and safety standards in food handling and restaurant cleanliness.
• Assist in the preparation of tables by setting up linens, silverware, and glasses.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to provide accurate and efficient service.
• Process guest payments promptly and handle cash responsibly.

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Waitress or in a similar role in hospitality.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid understanding of proper food handling and sanitation standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and team members.
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification preferred.
• Flexible schedule, including availability during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
