Team Leader - FPandA

Job Summary/Main Purpose

The Accountant will handle the full spectrum of financial and cost accounting role for the company operations.

Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for day to day finance and accounts operations.
• Performs full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of accounts.
• Performs project cost forecasts/budgets, cost tracking, monitoring and controls.
• Responsible for timely monthly consolidated financial statements, payments, cash-flow management reporting for submission to HQ in RAK.
• Reviews payment vouchers upon country sales manager approval.
• Performs cash flow forecasting, budgeting and working closely with the sales line manager analyzing the cost of material produced locally.
• Contacts suppliers for proposed items and compare and review quotations.
• Prepares and follow up all financial issues with NSSF (National Social Security Fund) related to all employees.
• Prepares yearly business deals for hospitals and major accounts in cooperation with Sales line manager and country sales manager.
• Audits storekeeper records to assure accuracy of related work flow.
• Issues project cost reports for review and approval.
• Supports Country Sales Manager in ensuring that intercompany cost allocations are in line with management agreements and policy
• Works consultatively with the respective departments
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
• Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience in financial & management accounting is preferred.
• Relevant experience in audit and costing is advantageous.
• Excellent strategic planning skills and able to interact with all levels.
• Good MS Office skills particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel.
• Able to work with team and professionals of different academic levels.
• Flexible, stress tolerant, able to respond to urgencies, has team spirit and of good communication skills.
