At InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa, strong service leadership makes all the difference. We are seeking a Restaurant Captain who is hands on, service driven, and committed to maintaining high standards while guiding the team through busy and refined service periods.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Lead and manage your assigned station to ensure smooth and efficient service
• Welcome guests, take food and beverage orders, and ensure timely follow-up
• Coordinate closely with kitchen and bar teams on menus, special requests, and availability
• Support the Outlet Supervisor in maintaining service flow and quality standards
• Monitor guest satisfaction, handle feedback, and support service recovery when needed
• Encourage upselling and promote menu items in a natural and professional manner
• Handle cash, room charges, and Micros transactions accurately when required
• Ensure all team members follow hygiene, safety, and brand standards at all times
  
  

What We need from you:

• Previous experience as a Captain or senior service role in a resort setting, luxury background is a plus
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service and restaurant operations
• Confident communication skills with guests and colleagues
• A guest-focused mindset with attention to detail
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Basic cash handling and POS system knowledge
• Hospitality training or a diploma is an advantage
