Black & Grey HR is hiring for a manufacturing company in the UAE for a QA/QC Officer to oversee day-to-day quality control activities across plastic injection moulding and packaging operations. The QA/QC Officer will be responsible for ensuring that raw materials, production processes and finished products meet defined quality standards. The role requires strong shop-floor involvement, accurate quality documentation, timely reporting of non-conformities, and follow-up on CAPA, NCR, customer complaints and corrective actions

Responsibilities:
- Ensure all QA/QC procedures, SOPs and quality standards are followed on a daily basis.
- Conduct and document incoming inspection and release of raw materials.
- Perform in-process and finished-product inspections.
- Conduct and document QA line clearance before production.
- Maintain quality records, inspection checklists and document control.
- Monitor laboratory testing, calibration activities and reference samples.
- Track CAPA, NCR, customer complaints, root cause analysis and corrective actions through to closure.
- Monitor warehouse conditions, FIFO, storage practices, pest control and housekeeping.
- Follow up on preventive maintenance and quality-related issues.
- Maintain employee training records and ensure required quality training is completed.
- Identify and report non-conformities to management promptly.
- Support customer audits and ensure audit observations/actions are closed within agreed timelines.
- Prepare and submit daily quality reports to management covering:
  • Production and in-process inspections
  • Raw-material inspections
  • Line clearances
  • Rejections and quality issues
  • Laboratory testing
  • Warehouse observations
  • CAPA/NCR status
  • Maintenance and quality-related issues
  • Issues requiring management attention


Requirements

- Diploma or Degree in Quality, Polymer/Plastics, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- 1–3 years of QA/QC experience, preferably within plastic injection moulding, plastics or packaging manufacturing.
- Good knowledge of SOPs, inspection procedures, CAPA, RCA, NCR and quality documentation.
- Hands-on experience working in a manufacturing/shop-floor environment.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and quality reporting.
- Good English communication and documentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and enforce quality requirements.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with production, warehouse, maintenance and management teams.
