Project Manager - MEP

The Project

Mace is in the construction phase of a high-profile integrated resort project in Ras Al Khaimah and is seeking an experienced project manager specialising in ELV and AV systems delivery. This role is focused squarely on execution, installation, integration, testing, commissioning, and handover of complex technology systems across a large-scale hospitality and entertainment development.

You will work directly with contractors, system integrators, vendors, and Mace’s wider delivery team to ensure ELV/AV packages are installed to the required quality, fully coordinated, and handed over seamlessly to operations.

You’ll Be Responsible For

• Oversee and manage all on-site ELV/AV construction activities across multiple buildings and work fronts.
• Monitor installation progress daily, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and QA/QC requirements.
• Resolve technical issues promptly with contractors and suppliers to prevent delays.
• Ensure proper sequencing and coordination with MEP, architectural, theming, IT, and other interfacing systems.
• Lead multidisciplinary coordination sessions to manage interfaces between ICT networks, AV/IT systems, structured cabling, security systems, BMS/EMS integration, guest-facing technology, and hospitality systems.
• Ensure contractors and system integrators align with the overall project phasing and building readiness requirements.
• Review and approve technical submissions, shop drawings, as-built documentation, and installation inspection requests.
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess workmanship, adherence to standards, and readiness for testing.
• Manage technical risk items and ensure timely closure of NCRs, snag lists, and punch items.
• Track progress against construction and commissioning milestones; identify risks and recovery actions.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and updates for senior Mace and client stakeholders.
• Support contract administration, including variations, change control, claims support, and progress valuations.
• Lead the full testing and commissioning lifecycle for all ELV/AV systems:
• Work with operations teams to ensure readiness for handover, including training, O&M manuals, asset registers, and warranty documentation.
• Act as the main point of contact for all ELV/AV construction activities with the client, consultants, contractors, and internal Mace delivery leads.
• Proactively manage expectations, communication, and issue escalation.
  
  

You’ll Need To Have

• Degree in electrical engineering, electronics, ICT, or a related field.
• PMP, CTS, RCDD, or equivalent certifications are beneficial but not essential.
• Significant experience delivering ELV/AV systems on major construction projects.
• Strong background in construction delivery, contractor management, and site supervision.
• Demonstrable experience in ELV/ICT/AV/security systems, large-scale hospitality or mixed-use developments and complex multi-system integration
• Deep knowledge of UAE/GCC delivery standards and construction processes.
• Experience managing main contractors and specialist ELV/AV subcontractors.
• Delivery experience on resorts, hotels, entertainment, or integrated developments.
• Experience working in a PMC/consultancy environment.
