Pre-Sales Engineer

Job Scope

The Pre-Sales Engineer is accountable for advising and coordinating with the Sales team on all technical issues related but not limited to account penetration strategies, pre-sales implementations, solution design and training. S/He is a technical expert building strong relationships with partners and customers and driving the business through multiple technical initiatives.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

Analyse client RFQs, specifications, and tender documents for modular shelters, generator enclosures, and modular DC buildings
Prepare technical proposals, compliance matrices, BOQs, layouts, and value engineering options
Coordinate with design, HVAC, electrical, fire & structural teams to develop optimized solutions
Support the sales team with costing, technical clarifications, and client presentations
Review and manage technical deviations, exclusions, and alternatives
Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and pre-bid discussions

Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in electrical, or Industrial Engineering
Strong knowledge of HVAC, power, fire & life safety, and structural concepts.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents
Experience in preparing commercial & technical offers
Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and proposal documentation

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or any other related field.

Experience

5–10 years experience in modular buildings, data centers, telecom shelters, or generator enclosures
