Job Purpose

The Physical Security Technology Manager supports the Global Security function by leading the design, standardization, and implementation of physical security technology across company locations worldwide. This role serves as the technical authority for security systems, ensuring they are scalable, compliant, and seamlessly integrated into a modern, global office environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for physical security technologies, including Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intrusion Detection, and Visitor Management systems.
  • Design and lead global programs to standardize, modernize, and optimize security technology across all company locations.
  • Partner with Global Security, Facilities, IT, Audio/Visual, Cybersecurity, and Operations teams on new builds, expansions, renovations, and system upgrades.
  • Provide technical guidance to ensure system compatibility, performance, regulatory compliance, and alignment with corporate security objectives.
  • Manage and oversee external vendors responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of security systems, ensuring consistent quality and delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including the evaluation and adoption of AI and emerging technologies for physical security.
  • Travel to company locations to support deployments and ensure consistent global implementation standards.


Requirements

  • Technical certification or degree in electronic engineering or a related field OR
  • Extensive hands-on experience in the installation and administration of physical security systems.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in physical security technology, including system design, integration, installation/service, and vendor management.
  • Proven field experience with access control readers, camera/VMS platforms, intrusion detection, and alarm systems.
  • Project management experience supporting new builds, expansions, or renovations, ideally in an international environment.
  • Flexibility to work across multiple time zones.
  • Willingness to travel 20–30% internationally.


Skills

  • Deep technical knowledge of access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and visitor management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive and independent working style.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong intercultural collaboration and stakeholder management skills.


Nice to Have

  • Experience or certification in corporate security environments.
  • Exposure to AI-driven security technologies or advanced analytics.
  • Experience supporting global, multi-site corporate organizations.
  • Familiarity with physical security compliance and regulatory frameworks.
