RD Laboratory Technician, Powder Coating, UAE

Position Description

The RD laboratory Technician carries out the experiments designed by Laboratory manager to develop or match the colors requested by sales teams.

Technician also maintains the shade panel library and ensures availability of color panels so that panels requests by the customers/ sales executives are timely fulfilled.

Reporting lines

• Functional Guidance: Laboratory Manager and QC Leader, Powder Coating, UAE.
• Administrative/Legal Entity: Business Director, General Industrial TMEA.
  
  

Main Responsibilities

• To carry out various experiments like color matching, product improvement, RM evaluation or cost optimization.
• Prepare powder samples for customer line trials.
• Maintain Lab equipment up and working as well as laboratory area nit and clean
• Maintain panel library ensuring sending panels to customers or sales representatives in timely manner.
• Responsible for providing sample panels as and when requested by sales.
