IT Assistant Engineer

We are seeking a skilled IT infrastructure engineer with a minimum 3 years of experience in implementing and managing enterprise infrastructure across networking, servers, virtualization, and storage in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Network reliability, security, and server administration are key priorities for this role.

Skills and Experience
。Proven ability to diagnose and resolve network faults in live production environments
。Strong LAN/WAN design and operational skills, including VLAN and VPN
Hands-on installation, configuration, and troubleshooting firewalls, APs, switches, and routers
。Practical experience with cloud and local virtual machines, Windows and Linux server administration(e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
。Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools
。Experience with NAS and SAN storage technologies and backup integration
。Preferred hands-on experience with Fortinet, Aruba, Cisco Catalyst, and Avaya telephony

Core Responsibilities
。Diagnose and resolve network outages and performance issues
Structured cabling & rack work — patch panels, cable management, rack maintenance.
。LAN / WiFi / WAN operations — VLANs, VPNs, switches, routers, monitoring & troubleshooting
。Documentation & monitoring — maintain topology/IP schemes, asset inventory, logs, and alerts
。Firewalls & network security — configure and manage(Fortinet)
Wireless APs — install, commission, optimize for reliable coverage
。Server virtualization — Windows/Linux servers, provisioning, patching, and monitoring
。Backup & disaster recovery — implement and manage data backup and disaster recovery processes
。IP telephony — deploy, configure, and maintain Avaya telephony
。Perform routine site inspections, conduct network performance tests on a regular basis
。Provide after hours onsite support as required
。Other duties as assigned by IT supervisor

Qualifications and Extra Skills
。3+ years' hands‑on experience in factory or industrial network/IT operations
。Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
。Preferred certifications: CCNP/CCIE, Fortinet NSE, MCSE, VCP, or equivalent.
。Experience with monitoring stacks (Zabbix, PRTG, SolarWinds, Prometheus)
。Experience with CCTV / VMS(Video Management System)
。Prior experience in M365 governance is a plus.
