Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and diligent HR Intern to join our Human Resources team and support various HR-related initiatives. This internship will provide valuable experience in recruitment, employee relations, and the administration of human resources policies and procedures. Responsibilities

  • Assist the HR team with posting job advertisements on various job boards and career sites.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates, hiring managers, and the recruitment team.
  • Maintain and update employee records in the HR database system accurately and efficiently.
  • Support the initiation of background checks and verification processes for potential new hires.
  • Collect and organize candidate resumes and applications for recruitment review and analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation of HR-related reports, presentations, and other documentation as needed.
  • Participate in and support employee onboarding processes, including orientation sessions and paperwork.
  • Support the administration of employee benefits programs and coordinate with providers as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to plan and execute employee engagement and development initiatives.
  • Help in the creation and updating of HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
  • Provide administrative assistance in organizing HR meetings, events, and training sessions.
  • Support HR managers by responding to employee questions and directing them to appropriate resources.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Strong desire to learn and explore various functions within human resources.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Previous experience in an office or business environment is a plus, but not required.
