Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Medical Representative to join our team in Libya. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the promotion and sales of our pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals (HCPs) while maintaining strong relationships with clients and ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Product Promotion:

  • Effectively communicate the features, benefits, and value propositions of the company’s products to healthcare professionals, including physicians, pharmacists, and other key stakeholders.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations during in-clinic visits, meetings, and medical conferences.

Relationship Building

  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with HCPs and healthcare organizations.
  • Act as a reliable point of contact for healthcare providers, addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly.

Market Intelligence

  • Stay informed about competitors’ products, market trends, and industry developments.
  • Provide feedback to the marketing and sales teams to refine strategies and identify opportunities.

Sales Target Achievement

  • Develop and implement effective territory plans to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Regularly analyze territory performance and report on sales activities, results, and challenges to the sales manager.

Compliance

  • Adhere strictly to all local regulations, industry standards, and company policies regarding ethical practices in the promotion of pharmaceutical products.
  • Ensure all promotional materials and activities comply with legal and regulatory guidelines.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless product delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in team meetings and training programs to stay updated on new products and sales techniques.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Medical Representative or in a similar sales role
  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and develop actionable plans.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
