Job Description

As an Export Sales Manager in the Food Products sector, you will be responsible for spearheading the company's international sales efforts, identifying new business opportunities, and working to expand the company's global footprint. Your role is critical in managing relationships with international clients, coordinating with internal teams to ensure the timely fulfillment of orders, and exploring new markets to increase the sales volume of the company's food products. Your profound knowledge of global market dynamics, food industry trends, and cultural sensitivities will be pivotal in crafting competitive sales strategies to achieve the company’s export goals. You will also act as the bridge between the company and international regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with food safety and import/export regulations.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new international market opportunities for food products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with international distributors and clients.
  • Create and implement strategic sales plans to achieve the company’s export sales goals.
  • Negotiate sales contracts and agreements with international clients to ensure beneficial terms.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor global market trends and competitor activities to identify threats and opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and food industry standards.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to tailor promotional materials for diverse international markets.
  • Manage export pricing strategies and adjust as necessary to remain competitive.
  • Analyze sales statistics and client feedback to improve future performance strategies.
  • Attend international trade shows and conferences to represent the company and gain insights.
  • Prepare detailed sales reports for senior management highlighting key insights and results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, or related field.
  • Proven experience in export sales management, specifically within the food products sector.
  • Strong understanding of international trade regulations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills to manage diverse client relationships.
  • Effective communication skills in both written and verbal formats.
  • Ability to prepare and analyze sales reports and market data for strategic planning.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required for meetings and trade shows.
