Job Title: Junior Chemist – Analytical Chemistry

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Chemist with 2–4 years of hands-on analytical chemistry experience to join our quality control / analytical team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in operating and troubleshooting advanced analytical instruments and have a sound understanding of regulatory requirements in pharmaceutical and chemical testing.

Key Responsibilities

·        Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products in compliance with regulatory guidelines.

·        Operate, maintain, and calibrate analytical instruments such as: GC, HPLC, Dissolution Apparatus, Karl Fischer Moisture Analyser and pH Meters.

·        Conduct method development, validation, and routine analysis following USP/EP/BP/IP standards.

·        Prepare and review analytical test reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation.

·        Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

·        Troubleshoot analytical issues and ensure minimal downtime for instruments.

·        Participate in internal audits and regulatory inspections.

Qualifications & Requirements

·        Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field.

·        Experience: 2–4 years of hands-on experience in analytical testing within the pharmaceutical, chemical, or related industry.

·        Technical Skills:

o   Proficient in operating GC, HPLC, GCMS, Dissolution Apparatus, KF Moisture Analyzer, and pH analysis equipment.

o   Strong understanding of analytical method validation and regulatory compendia (USP, EP, BP, IP).

·        Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with cGMP, GLP, and ICH guidelines.

·        Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, analytical problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
