AutoCAD Draftsman

Job Summary

The AutoCAD Draftsman will be responsible for preparing accurate 2D technical drawings of electrical insulation components used in transformer manufacturing. The role supports engineering and production teams by delivering precise drawings as per specifications and project requirements.

Salary : AED 1225 - 1350

Experience : 0 - 3 years

Location : Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings for insulation components
• Create cutting layouts and fabrication drawings for production use
• Revise and update drawings based on engineering and client inputs
• Coordinate with production and QC teams for drawing accuracy
• Maintain proper drawing documentation and version control
• Ensure drawings comply with technical standards and company guidelines
• Assist in material estimation based on drawings when required
• Support engineers in resolving drawing-related technical issues
• Follow quality and safety standards at all times

Mandatory Requirements

• ITI / Diploma in Drafting, Mechanical, or related field
• Experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Willingness to coordinate with production and engineering teams
• Experience in transformer, insulation, or manufacturing industry is an added advantage
