Warehouse Supervisor

Stevin Rock is seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations and ensure the efficient flow of materials that support our mining, quarrying, maintenance and operational activities.

The Role

As Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, ensuring materials are received, stored, controlled and issued efficiently and accurately. You will take a leading role in planning and executing the inventory strategy to meet multiple department requirements, critical spare parts and consumables. You will lead a team of warehouse personnel, maintain inventory integrity, enforce safety standards and work closely with procurement, logistics and operational departments to ensure uninterrupted business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, issuing and dispatch of materials.
• Lead and develop a team of warehouse employees to achieve operational objectives.
• Support consumables and critical spares inventory planning and stocking requirements.
• Ensure accurate inventory management and stock control processes.
• Conduct cycle counts and physical stock audits and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records within the ERP system.
• Coordinate deliveries, dispatches and material transfers across company sites.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse procedures, company policies and HSE standards.
• Monitor warehouse housekeeping and maintain 5S standards.
• Identify slow-moving, obsolete or excess inventory and recommend corrective actions.
• Support internal and external audits through accurate inventory records and documentation.
• Coordinate maintenance of warehouse equipment and material handling assets.
• Promote a strong safety culture aligned with Stevin Rock's Health, Safety and Environmental standards.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
  
  

Experience

• Minimum 5-7 years of warehouse operations experience.
• At least 2-5 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
• Experience within mining, quarrying, construction, heavy industry or a similar operational environment is highly desirable.
• Experience using ERP and inventory management systems.
  
  

Skills

• Strong inventory management and stock control knowledge.
• Excellent planning, organisation and coordination skills.
• Effective leadership and people management capability.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Fluent in English. UAE driving licence preferred.
