We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Store Keeper to join our dynamic manufacturing operations team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing the storage, tracking, and distribution of raw materials, work-in-progress inventory, and finished goods within our manufacturing facility. Your expertise in inventory control, warehouse operations, and logistics will ensure seamless production workflows, minimize stock discrepancies, and support just-in-time manufacturing practices. This position plays a pivotal role in maintaining operational efficiency, reducing waste, and supporting supply chain continuity. As a Store Keeper, you will contribute directly to the quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness of our manufacturing output, making you an essential part of our production ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and goods for accuracy and quality.
Maintain accurate inventory records using manual and digital systems (e.g., ERP or inventory software).
Organize and label storage areas to ensure efficient retrieval and proper stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO).
Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Issue materials to production lines based on work orders and production schedules.
Prepare and process documentation for material transfers, returns, and disposals.
Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
Monitor stock levels and alert management to low or excess inventory.
Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and warehouse standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA, or local regulations).
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.
Requirements
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational certification in logistics or inventory management is a plus.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse or storekeeping role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Proficiency in inventory management systems and basic computer skills (MS Office, ERP systems).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Physical ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for extended periods.
Familiarity with FIFO (First In, First Out) and stock rotation practices.
Basic understanding of safety protocols and workplace hygiene standards.
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends, as required by production schedules.
Salary: AED1800
