Position title

Shelter Caretaker / Dog Handler

Description

We are looking for hard-working caretakers for our animal shelter. Must be comfortable with and have compassion for animals.

Responsibilities

Cleaning the shelter
Cleaning animal enclosures
Feeding dogs
Bathing dogs
Monitoring for signs of illness and providing basic care

Qualifications

Flexibility - ever day is different!
High standards of cleanliness
Must work well alone and in a team
Good at listening and taking instructions
Good problem solver
Previous work with animals an advantage
Basic level of English required
