Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales & Business Development Engineer to drive business growth for our Oil & Gas Engineering Consultancy services. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic client relationships, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and converting opportunities into awarded consultancy projects across the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy, Industrial, and Infrastructure sectors.

The role requires a strong understanding of engineering consultancy services, regional market dynamics, and the ability to engage with major operators, EPC contractors, government entities, and industrial clients.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across the UAE, GCC, Iraq, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Oman, and Jordan.
• Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve annual sales and revenue targets.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, consultants, EPC contractors, and government organizations.
• Promote the companys Engineering Consultancy, Project Management, HSE Consultancy, Fire Protection, and Asset Integrity services.
• Generate qualified leads through networking, industry events, client visits, and market intelligence.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging business opportunities.
• Develop strategic account plans for key clients and target markets.

Sales & Client Management

• Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation through project award.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals in coordination with engineering teams.
• Conduct client presentations, technical discussions, and capability demonstrations.
• Participate in tender clarifications, commercial negotiations, and contract discussions.
• Develop pricing strategies while ensuring profitability and competitiveness.
• Maintain strong customer relationships to maximize repeat business and long-term partnerships.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Proposal & Tender Management

• Review Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Invitations to Tender (ITTs), and Expressions of Interest (EOIs).
• Coordinate with engineering disciplines to prepare high-quality technical proposals.
• Develop commercial proposals, cost estimates, and bid documentation.
• Ensure timely submission of proposals in accordance with client requirements.
• Support bid clarification meetings and negotiations until project award.

Market Development

• Expand the companys presence in the Northern Emirates and other strategic GCC markets.
• Identify opportunities within National Oil Companies (NOCs), International Oil Companies (IOCs), EPC contractors, and industrial clients.
• Develop relationships with key decision-makers across target markets.
• Represent the company at conferences, exhibitions, networking events, and industry forums.

CRM & Reporting

• Maintain an up-to-date customer database and sales pipeline using CRM systems.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly business development reports.
• Forecast sales opportunities and revenue projections.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Process, or Civil Engineering.
• MBA in Marketing or Business Administration is preferred.
• Additional certifications in Sales, Business Development, or Project Management are advantageous.

Experience

• 8–10 years of business development and sales experience within the UAE/GCC, preferably in the Oil & Gas Engineering Consultancy sector.
• Proven experience in selling engineering consultancy services for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy, or Industrial projects.
• Strong track record of winning consultancy projects and achieving sales targets.
• Experience working with EPC contractors, operators, and engineering consultants.
• UAE/GCC market knowledge is essential.
