Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cutting & Stitching Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team in the production of high-quality bags, with a focus on lohia-style and custom-designed bags. This role is critical to ensuring precision, consistency, and efficiency throughout the production process. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating cutting and stitching machinery, maintaining quality standards, and contributing to a streamlined workflow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain cutting and stitching machines for the production of bags, including lohia bags and other custom designs.
Accurately cut fabric and materials according to specified patterns and dimensions using manual or automated cutting equipment.
Perform precise stitching using industrial sewing machines, ensuring consistent stitch quality, alignment, and durability.
Inspect finished products for defects, inconsistencies, or deviations from quality standards before final packaging.
Follow safety protocols and conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
Collaborate with team leads and supervisors to meet daily production targets and maintain workflow efficiency.
Adhere to hygiene, safety, and quality control standards in accordance with company and industry regulations.
Report equipment issues or material shortages promptly to relevant personnel.

Requirements

Requirements:

1–3 years of hands-on experience in cutting and stitching operations within a manufacturing environment.
Proven experience in operating industrial sewing machines and cutting tools, particularly in bag manufacturing.
Demonstrated proficiency in lohia bag stitching techniques and pattern-based cutting processes.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, templates, and production specifications.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality output.
Basic understanding of fabric types, seam strength, and stitching standards.
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with precision.
Willingness to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced production setting.
Familiarity with workplace safety practices and equipment handling procedures.
