Job Description
The Workshop Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring efficient and timely completion of tasks and projects. They will manage the workshop team, workflow, resources, and quality to meet customer requirements and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of workshop personnel.
- Assign tasks and projects to team members and set deadlines.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and practices in the workshop.
- Monitor and manage workshop resources, inventory, and equipment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Train and develop workshop staff to improve skills and performance.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Ensure quality control and compliance with company standards.
- Provide technical support and assistance to workshop staff.
- Maintain records and prepare reports on workshop activities.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent, technical certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role in a workshop or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of workshop operations and equipment.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Solid understanding of workplace safety regulations and practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
